CYI photography courses are designed to inspire, motivate and educate young people about photography, and the different career options available in this field. Photography is a tool for creative expression that goes far beyond the technicalities of using an SLR camera. It is about having ideas and understanding the equipment to which you have access. A great photograph can be taken with the crudest of equipment! The program concludes with an annual exhibition where the students' photographs are made available for sale.
